Bristol City vs. Stoke (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Wednesday's Championship predictions including Sheff Utd vs. Middlesbrough

Two teams with opposing aims in the Championship will come together on Wednesday night as playoff hopefuls Bristol City host relegation-threatened Stoke City at the Robins High Performance Centre.

The hosts are ninth in the standings and trail the top six by just three points, while the visitors are 18th in the standings and hold a narrow four-point lead over the drop zone.

We say: Bristol City 1-1 Stoke City

Despite the difference in league standings, both teams are in similar form heading into the match, suggesting a tight game that we believe will end in a draw.

Plymouth vs. Millwall (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Wednesday's Championship predictions including Sheff Utd vs. Middlesbrough

Aiming to record three straight wins for the first time in over 18 months, Plymouth Argyle will welcome Millwall to Home Park for a Championship battle on Wednesday night.

The Pilgrims enjoyed a historic FA Cup beating of Premier League juggernauts Liverpool on the weekend, while the Lions also experienced a shock success in the same competition a day earlier.

We say: Plymouth Argyle 1-1 Millwall

After the emotion of victory over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, Plymouth could find it difficult to successfully return to the reality of a Championship relegation battle on Wednesday night.

That being said, the Pilgrims are no longer a pushover at Home Park under Muslic and should be good enough to force a share of the spoils with Millwall.

Swansea vs. Sheff Weds (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Separated by five points in the middle of the Championship table, Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday will square off in South Wales on Wednesday.

The hosts moved back up to 16th spot with a crucial return to winning ways at the weekend, while their visitors dropped to 11th spot and three points behind the top six in an away defeat.

We say: Swansea City 2-1 Sheffield Wednesday

With renewed confidence from an impressive away win at the weekend, we back Swansea City to come out on top against a Sheffield Wednesday side harmed by several injuries to key players, particularly Bernard at the back and captain Bannan in midfield.

Burnley vs. Hull City (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Burnley will attempt to extend their 20-game unbeaten run in all competitions when they welcome Hull City to Turf Moor for Wednesday's Championship fixture.

The Clarets are sitting three points adrift of the top two in third position, while the Tigers are languishing in 21st place in the Championship table.

We say: Burnley 1-0 Hull City

Burnley using their strong defence as the foundation of their promotion push, and we think they will produce another resolute display to negate Hull's attacking threat, while we also believe they will do enough at the opposite end of the pitch to claim all three points.

> Championship preview: Burnley vs Hull City

Sunderland vs. Luton (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Promotion-chasing Sunderland will look to extend their seven-game unbeaten league run when they welcome relegation-threatened Luton Town to the Stadium of Light on Wednesday.

The Black Cats will head into the match in fourth place in the Championship table, while the Hatters are down in the relegation zone.

We say: Sunderland 2-1 Luton Town

Sunderland are one of two teams yet to lose a Championship home game this season, and we think they will maintain that record by claiming a narrow win over Luton side that have lost 11 of their last 12 away league matches.

> Championship preview: Sunderland vs Luton

Sheff Utd vs. Middlesbrough (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Sheffield United will welcome Middlesbrough to Bramall Lane on Wednesday for an important contest at the top end of the Championship table.

The hosts currently occupy second spot with a three-point lead over the chasing pack, while their visitors trail the playoff places by a single point.

We say: Sheffield United 2-1 Middlesbrough

Chris Wilder called for a reaction from his Sheffield United side after an underwhelming home display at the weekend, and we back them to come out on top in a tough test on Wednesday with the visitors lacking momentum in their playoff pursuit.

> Championship preview: Sheff Utd vs Middlesbrough

West Brom vs. Blackburn (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Aiming to extend their unbeaten run at The Hawthorns to a marvellous 12 matches, West Bromwich Albion will host Blackburn Rovers in the Championship on Wednesday night.

The Baggies enjoyed a barnstorming end to their clash with Sheffield Wednesday on the weekend, while Rovers are dealing with a major managerial headache following their FA Cup fourth-round exit.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 2-0 Blackburn Rovers

Following a productive end to the transfer window, West Brom have plenty of attacking options as they aim to record back-to-back wins at The Hawthorns.

With the future of head coach Eustace in serious doubt, Blackburn are likely to slump to defeat in the Black Country, potentially dropping out of the playoffs as a result.
