Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill has revealed that he was delighted with his side's performance in their 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
A brace in the opening 11 minutes of the match from Aaron Wilbraham was enough to secure the win for the Robins to lift them off the bottom of the Championship table.
"I said to them before the game 'what gets you in front keeps you in front' and that's what we didn't do against MK Dons," Cotterill told the club's official website.
"Our football was sharp, it was crisp, it was positive and we were on the front foot. I said to the boys at half-time 'I look like I've got my team back' because we'd lost our way a little bit and we didn't take the risks that we normally take.
"I know sometimes the crowd are going to have their hearts in their mouths but that's what's made us a good team - we play to win. I'm really pleased for everybody at the football club because we haven't had too many nights to celebrate, but this one allows us to enjoy our weekend."
The victory was City's first home win of the campaign.
