Bristol City scored three goals at home to beat Burnley and edge closer to escaping the relegation zone this afternoon.
On-loan Derby man Stephen Pearson scored on his debut to break the deadlock and put the home side ahead just shy of half time.
Clarets winger Ross Wallace beat Bristol keeper David James to make it all square within minutes of the restart. However, substitute Brett Pitman found Pearson's cross to put the home side back in front on the hour mark.
With less than 20 minutes remaining, Robins midfielder Albert Adomah was able to race clear of the Turf Moor outfit's defence and put the game out of reach.
