Two second-half goals have given Bristol City a comfortable 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Championship this afternoon.
The first chance of the game fell to Dexter Blackstock after Billy Sharp found him with a cross, but the striker couldn't finish the chance.
Jon Stead threatened at the other end for the Robins, turning well and forcing the goalkeeper into a save.
Forest thought they should have had a penalty after Liam Kelly appeared to handle the ball, but the referee dismissed the appeals.
Blackstock then came very close to giving the away side the lead, but he somehow managed to head against the bar from two yards out.
Sharp had the ball in the net after the restart, though it was chalked off as the linesman's flag was up.
Steve Davies then gave City the lead after 50 minutes when his shot flew into the back of the net via a deflection.
Marvin Elliott then made it 2-0 on 62 minutes, heading home a free kick from Davies.
