Bristol City have reportedly agreed an £8m fee with fellow Championship side Brentford for striker Andre Gray.
The Robins have been on the hunt for a new forward and last week had a bid for Crystal Palace frontman Dwight Gayle accepted by the Premier League outfit.
However, Gayle was unsure about dropping down to the second tier and the move went cold.
According to talkSPORT, Bristol have now moved for Gray, who was recently close to joining Hull City.
The 24-year-old scored 18 goals for the Bees last season after joining from Luton Town and moving up three divisions from the National League to the Championship.
He has scored twice in two games at the start of the new Championship season and reportedly also been the subject of interest from West Ham United.
