Bristol City manager Derek McInnes has denied that the Championship club could move for Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old has scored 10 goals in League One this season, but a tweet issued by the club has quelled suggestions of a move.
"Derek McInnes has rubbished media reports linking him with Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban," the club tweeted.
Meanwhile, the club were also forced to deny rumours that winger Martyn Woolford was set for a January exit.
"Derek McInnes has also strongly denied rumours suggesting winger Martyn Woolford has asked for a transfer," the second tweet read.
Bristol City currently occupy 22nd spot in the Championship table.
