The League Two clash between Bristol Rovers and Southend United is goalless at half time.
After a subdued first five minutes, the away side came close as John White beat Steven Gillespie on the wing and drove the ball across goal before Tom Parkes was able to clear.
Just a minute later, Gillespie's cross almost caught out Daniel Bentley in the United goal.
In the 13th minute, Parkes headed over from close range, the best chance of the half until about the half-hour mark, when Ryan Leonard unleashed a shot from 30 yards that was just off target.
Just five minutes later, Bentley produced a skilful reaction save to deny John-Joe O'Toole from a corner kick, while Chris Beardsley forced another Pirates corner with just three minutes to go in the half.
