Burnley frontman Wes Fletcher has made the switch to Accrington Stanley on a loan deal until January.
While the 20-year-old re-joins League Two after loan stints at Stockport and Grimsby, Burnley boss Eddie Howe is confident the forward can gain some valuable experience.
"He is a player with talent,” Sky Sports News quotes Howe as saying. “We feel he is part of the future here, which why we gave him a two-year deal.
"Kevin Long is already there and the locality is ideal for us to keep a close eye on his progress.
"Hopefully he will go there and score some goals and come back that much better prepared to challenge for a place in our first team."
Fletcher could make his debut for Stanley at home to Bradford on Tuesday.
