Andre Gray has said that he sought advice from former Brentford manager Mark Warburton before signing for Burnley.
The 24-year-old signed for the Clarets for a club-record fee, believed to be around £9m.
"I've still got a good relationship with the previous manager Mark Warburton and David Weir and sitting down speaking with my agent and then getting a second opinion off them two, the fact that this was definitely the right place for me to be," Gray told reporters.
Gray scored 20 goals in 52 appearances for Brentford.
