Queens Park Rangers have signed striker Charlie Austin from Burnley for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Loftus Road, and Burnley boss Sean Dyche has admitted that there was little that the club could do to prevent the forward from departing Turf Moor.
The 42-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's one that we thought might happen. He is a very good player and he has done fantastic for this club.
"We talked to him about a new contract, but these clubs coming down from the Premier League are very powerful now, and they have shown that by taking a good player from us."
Austin scored 25 goals in the Championship last season.
