Burnley have reportedly made a £9.2m bid for Lorient forward Majeed Waris.
The 25-year-old, who scored nine times in 33 appearances for Lorient during the 2016-17 campaign, has been widely tipped to leave Le FCL before the end of the transfer window.
West Ham United were credited with an interest in the Ghana international on Wednesday, but according to RMC, it is Burnley that have launched a £9m bid plus bonuses for the attacker over the last hour.
Waris, who has four goals in 22 appearances for the Ghanaian national team, joined Lorient from Trabzonspor in 2015.
Burnley have until 11pm to agree any potential deal for the Ligue 2 forward.
