Burnley co-chairman Mike Garlick has said that the Clarets are "100% guaranteed" to keep in-form striker Danny Ings beyond the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer, has been linked with a winter move away from Turf Moor in recent days, having scored four in his last six outings.
Speculation has mounted that Southampton - who released Ings as a schoolboy - will look to re-sign him next month amid suggestions that Burnley are ready to cash in on the hitman.
"Come February 2, Danny will be playing for Burnley, 100% guaranteed," Garlick told The Burnley Express. "Everyone loves having him here, and hopefully he will be here further on."
Sean Dyche's side, who sit 18th in the Premier League table, travel to fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.
