Burnley have announced the signing of Zeki Amdouni on a five-year deal from Basel.
The 22-year-old joins the newly-promoted Clarets for an undisclosed fee and has agreed a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.
Amdouni is a Swiss international who was the joint top-scorer in the Europa Conference League last season, netting seven times in that competition.
The striker also scored 12 goals in the Swiss Super League in 2022-23, ending the campaign with 22 goals across all competitions.
Amdouni's form at club level earned him a call-up to the Switzerland senior side last year, and he has since netted five times in as many appearances for his country.
"I'm very happy to be here and I'm excited to start," he told the club's official website.
"The last two months were very important to me; I spoke to the coach, and he really wanted me. Also, I really wanted to work with him, for me that's the most important. For my career, to choose a good club, where the coach wants you is important to me.
"I know the Premier League is best league in the world. It's not easy for sure but I am confident with the coach, and the staff, I can do good things here."
Burnley boss Vincent Kompany added: "He's been on our radar for quite a while now. Zeki is such a goal threat. The way he can play the final pass creates so many assists and thanks to the amount of work he puts in on the pitch - he scores plenty himself.
"He's a very intelligent footballer, technically gifted and with a great work ethic. He works really hard. We're looking forward to working with him. He's a big talent."
Amdouni could make his debut for last season's Championship winners when they open the new Premier League season at home to treble-winners Manchester City on August 11.
