Rangers have made a move to sign experienced Burnley midfielder Joey Barton on a free transfer this summer, according to reports.
The 33-year-old was named in the Championship team of the season as the Clarets secured the title, but has yet to agree a new deal with the club.
According to BBC Sport, Barton was shown round the Scottish club's Auchenhowie training ground on Saturday, with a deal said to be imminent.
Barton's former clubs include Manchester City, Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers.
