Congo DR have secured a quarter-final spot at the African Nations Championship with a 2-1 win over Burundi in Polokwane.
The Leopards will now face Ghana in the last eight after finishing in second place in Group D.
Selemani Ndikumana gave Burundi the lead on 15 minutes when he found the bottom corner following a quick counter-attack.
Congo had the chance to equalise minutes later, but Makusu Mundele saw his penalty saved after Ndome Mubele had been hacked down in the box.
However, Mundele made amends on 25 minutes as he levelled for Congo with a fierce effort from just inside the area.
Mundele then scored the winning goal seven minutes before half time as his low drive beat the goalkeeper.
