League One outfit Bury have appointed former Leeds United boss Kevin Blackwell as their new manager.
Bury, who have been without a boss since Richie Barker departed for Crawley Town last month, had appointed Peter Shirtliff as caretaker manager.
However, they have moved to appoint Blackwell with the club rooted to the bottom of the League One table.
Blackwell has also managed Sheffield United.
