Monaco have closed the gap on Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1 to four points after a 3-0 win against Caen at the Stade Michel D'Ornano.
Leonardo Jardim's side were put under early pressure after Felipe Saad brought an early save out of Danijel Subasic, moments after Julien Feret's strike was blocked by the AS defence.
However, Monaco took the lead on 29 minutes when youngster Anthony Martial latched on to Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco's cross before finding the bottom corner of Remy Vercoutre's net.
Caen then wasted a chance to get on level terms within moments when Emiliano Sala reacted quickest to N'Golo Kante's pinpoint delivery, but his effort was kept out by Subasic.
Ferreira-Carrasco almost increased Monaco's lead on the hour mark after being teed up by Fabinho, but the forward dragged his shot wide of goal.
The Monagasque outfit did double their advantage soon after when Bernardo Silva turned Ferreira-Carrasco's corner beyond the reach of Vercoutre.
Silva then made sure of victory late on after finishing a pacey counter-attack with a close-range finish from Martial's pass.
