Cambuur have seen their winless run in the Eredivisie continue despite coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against AZ this evening.
Markus Henriksen came close for the visitors in the opening minutes when he saw his low strike kept out by Leonard Nienhuis
Cambuur soon threatened with a chance of their own as Bartholomew Ogbeche's header was saved by Gino Coutinho.
Alkmaar then opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Henriksen touched a long pass into the direction of Vincent Janssen, who kept his composure under pressure to slide the ball into the net.
Janssen came close to grabbing a second for the visitors at the end of the first half, but his shot on the turn flew over the bar.
The goalscorer was proving to be a constant threat for AZ and he was denied again after the break when Nienhuis saved his effort.
However, the visitors were punished for not taking their chances as in the 72nd minute Ogbeche turned the ball in from close range to level the scores.
Wessel Dammers was then sent off for the hosts for a second bookable offence, but they managed to hold on and earn a share of the spoils.
