Groningen fought back from two goals down to earn a point against relegation-threatened Cambuur.
SC took the lead inside nine minutes when neat build-up play from Jack Byrne presented Martjin Barto with the chance to score for the hosts from close range.
Cambuur then doubled their advantage moments later as Djavan Anderson teed up Barto for this second in the space of four minutes.
After the home side continued to protect their lead up to half time, Groningen hit back after the restart as Brian Linssen's pinpoint pass was turned home by Johan Kappelhof.
The Green-White Army, who started the game one point outside the European playoff places, got back on level terms in the 58th minute as Jesper Drost netted the visitors' second.
Groningen remain in eighth place as a result, but are now level on points with seventh-placed PEC Zwolle.
