Ajax put in another strong performance as they beat Cambuur 5-1 in the Eredivisie at the Amsterdam Arena.
A short corner routine helped provide Ajax with the first goal of the game as Joel Veltman met Nemanja Gudelj's cross and nodded the ball home past Leonard Nienhuis.
However, Cambuur equalised quickly as Furdjel Narsingh found Sander van de Streek unmarked in the box and he placed his header inside the near post to pull the visitors level.
Arkadiusz Milik put the hosts back in front with the third headed goal of the game as he met Gudelj's corner at the near post and steered it home for Ajax's second.
Davy Klaassen then added his name to the scoresheet after a deep cross from Kenny Tete found the Dutchman alone in the box, and his looping header flew over Nienhuis's head and into the goal.
Another Ajax corner led to their fourth of the game as Cambuur failed to clear the initial cross and the ball fell to Klaassen inside the box, with the 22-year-old powerfully striking the ball into the top of the net.
Amin Younes made it five in the second half after the forward latched on to Veltman's through ball before he took it round the goalkeeper and finished into an open net.
The win keeps Ajax top of the Eredivisie, while Cambuur remain 17th and without a win all season.
