Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Hull City vs. Leicester City.

Cardiff vs. Ipswich (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Ipswich Town make the long trip to South Wales to face Cardiff City looking for the victory that would keep them in second position in the Championship table.

However, the Tractor Boys are playing a resurgent Bluebirds outfit that have reignited their small playoff hopes with three successive victories.

We say: Cardiff City 1-2 Ipswich Town

As two of the form teams in the division, we expect a fiercely-competitive contest to play out at the Cardiff City Stadium. The home side will push hard for three points with draws no longer any use to them, but that may allow Ipswich to snatch a winner in the closing stages.

Blackburn vs. Plymouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Blackburn Rovers and Plymouth Argyle square off on Saturday afternoon with both teams desperately in need of recording a victory in the Championship.

Despite these clubs sitting in 17th and 16th position in the standings respectively, they now sit just two points clear of the relegation zone.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 2-2 Plymouth Argyle

There will be a mixture of nerves and ambition to push forward in this match, both teams aware of the progress that they could make with a victory. However, we feel that an entertaining draw is the most likely outcome, a result that will not necessarily suit either side.

Hull City vs. Leicester (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Leicester City make the trip to Hull City on Saturday afternoon looking to build on finally ending a prolonged losing streak in midweek.

At a time when the Foxes remain three points clear at the top of the Championship table, Hull are sixth despite posting three draws in a row.

We say: Hull City 0-2 Leicester City

This feels like a pivotal match for both sides, particularly in the case of Hull who are aware that they are on the brink of being overtaken in the playoff race. With Leicester having negotiated their match at Sunderland in midweek, the pressure is off to a certain extent, and that could lead to an efficient victory being recorded on Humberside.

Millwall vs. Birmingham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Both scrapping for their second-tier lives near the foot of the league standings, a rejuvenated Millwall side will welcome Birmingham City to The Den on Saturday afternoon in the Championship.

The Lions were forced to share the spoils at Blackburn Rovers in the week, whilst Blues produced a late comeback to earn a point from playoff-chasing Hull City.

We say: Millwall 1-1 Birmingham City

With both sides painfully aware of how big Saturday's match could be in the fight for survival, we are expecting a hard-fought battle between Millwall and Birmingham.

The Lions are enjoying a brilliant run of form under their new management, but we reckon that Blues can earn a point from their trip to the Den.

Norwich vs. Rotherham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Looking to make it six-straight wins at their Carrow Road base, top-six hopefuls Norwich City will host League One-bound Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon in the Championship.

The Canaries suffered a disappointing defeat at Middlesbrough last time out, whilst the Millers endured an embarrassing evening in the East Midlands against Coventry City.

We say: Norwich City 3-0 Rotherham United

After playing the majority of the defeat at Middlesbrough with a numerical disadvantage, an 11-man Norwich will be raring to return to winning ways against the division's poorest outfit.

Rotherham face another dreaded away trip following Tuesday night's hammering at Coventry, and we are fully expecting a ninth-straight loss for the Millers.

Preston vs. Stoke (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Looking to stay on the coattails of the top-six places in the league standings, Preston North End will do battle with a relegation-threatened Stoke City side on Saturday afternoon at Deepdale in the Championship.

The Lilywhites saw their fixture at promotion-chasing Southampton postponed on Wednesday evening, whilst the Potters were unable to halt the Leeds United juggernaut at Elland Road a day earlier.

We say: Preston North End 2-1 Stoke City

Preston are enjoying their longest unbeaten run since the beginning of the campaign and will be raring to go after Wednesday night's postponement in Southampton.

Stoke face another daunting away trip following their visit to Leeds on Tuesday, and we feel that the Potters will struggle to match the Lilywhites physically at Deepdale, resulting in defeat for Schumacher's charges.

QPR vs. Middlesbrough (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Queens Park Rangers will be looking to move away from the Championship relegation zone when they play host to Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.

At a time when the Hoops are four games unbeaten, Boro got back to winning ways in midweek to ease any lingering concerns about being drawn into a scrap at the bottom.

We say: Queens Park Rangers 2-0 Middlesbrough

On the back of beating Norwich, Boro will have every confidence that they can return to the North-East with at least a share of the spoils. However, QPR are one of the most improved sides in the division and we expect to see another win for the Hoops in the capital.

Southampton vs. Sunderland (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Southampton play host to Sunderland on Saturday afternoon looking for the win that they require to remain active in the race for automatic promotion.

At a time when the Saints sit in fourth position in the Championship standings, Sunderland are down in 11th place after five successive defeats.

We say: Southampton 3-1 Sunderland

Sunderland have reached a stage where they can probably throw caution to the wind and go all out for three points. However, Southampton may benefit from the unforeseen midweek break and could make relatively light work of their opponents who are devoid of confidence.

Watford vs. Coventry (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Aiming to avoid the most unlikely of relegation battles, an out-of-form Watford side will welcome top-six chasers Coventry City to Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon in the Championship.

The Hornets' struggles in Hertfordshire continued as they shared the spoils with Swansea City last time out, whilst the Sky Blues efficiently put Rotherham United to the sword in the East Midlands.

We say: Watford 1-1 Coventry City

Having not won at Vicarage Road since November 25, Watford are devoid of confidence on their own patch but possess the quality to earn a result this weekend.

Coventry have alternated lacklustre displays with handsome victories over the past fortnight - we are expecting something in the middle of those two extremes from the Sky Blues on Saturday afternoon.
