Welsh striker Robert Earnshaw has insisted that Cardiff City will be under extra pressure come the start of the new Championship season.
The Wales outfit will be playing in red as opposed to blue next season as part of an investment pledge from the club's Malaysian owners. Earnshaw feels that the change will put Cardiff under the spotlight and is adamant that they need to get off to a good start.
"With all the things that's been happening [over] the last couple of months there's going to be a lot of pressure with it," said Earnshaw.
"It's only going to be okay if the team does well and if it doesn't then I know everyone around here will question everything.
"The focus is going to be getting ready and trying to do well and hopefully that happens."
Cardiff made the playoffs last season, only to lose to West Ham United in both legs of the semi-final.
