Cardiff City player-coach Daniel Gabbidon has said that he is relishing the arrival of new manager Russell Slade.
The defender, who is sharing management duties with Scott Young in the interim, is confident that the former Leyton Orient boss can help them win promotion back to the Premier League.
"With Russell's experience and the quality of players we have at the club, we can still be promoted," Sky Sports News quotes Gabbidon as saying.
"I hope he has time to get his points across. There isn't much wrong. There are small things we must improve on.
"Game management has to be better and we must improve on decision-making. That wasn't good enough at times. The new manager is experienced and will be ready for the test ahead."
Slade is expected to be formally appointed as Cardiff boss in the next 24 hours.
