Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has revealed his delight at his side's 1-0 victory over Swansea City in their Premier League match this afternoon.
The Bluebirds claimed their third league win of the season thanks to Steven Caulker's goal and the manager was impressed with the way his team played, as well as the atmosphere created by the fans at the Cardiff City Stadium.
"It's a great day, and in terms of the background noise over the last few weeks it certainly helps," he told Sky Sports News.
"It's put smiles on people's faces here and I've never seen an atmosphere like it. And it was not only the win, but also the performance. I thought we were very dominant.
"It's a tough, uncompromising league but it's the only place to be. We've got good people here and we enjoy playing here in this division."
Cardiff are 12th in the Premier League table after today's result.
