Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has praised the effort of club owner Vincent Tan.
The Malaysian businessman revealed earlier this week that he was able to wipe out a multi-million pound debt by reaching an agreement with the Langston Corporation.
"For our owner to take his plans forward now with a clearer picture massively helps the football club," BBC Sport quotes Mackay as saying.
As part of the deal, former chairman Sam Hammam has returned to the Cardiff City Stadium.
