Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall has had the three-game ban handed to him during Saturday's defeat to Rotherham United reduced to two games.
Marshall was sent off for kicking out at Millers striker Matt Derbyshire late in the first half, giving away a penalty in the process.
The Bluebirds appealed the decision after replays revealed that the Rotherham striker had been pulling on the Cardiff captain's shirt moments before.
As a result, the Scotland international will now only have to sit out two games, meaning that he could return to play Preston North End on October 17.
