Cardiff City manager Russell Slade has urged his players to remain focused as they prepare for an "unpredictable" Severnside derby meeting with Bristol City.
The Bluebirds head into the crunch clash sitting 10 points ahead of their rivals following a solid start to the campaign.
Slade acknowledges the importance of picking up a win to provide supporters with bragging rights, but he is eager for his group to block out all that is going on around them in the build-up to Monday's much-anticipated game.
"They tend to be unpredictable," Wales Online quotes him as saying. "It's important to distance yourself from all around you - they are important to fans.
"But it's important we focus on our gameplan. There is always added intensity and awareness of taking the three points. [Derbies] do add more - it's a big one for fans, but it is important that we focus on doing our jobs."
Cardiff have won six of their last eight league games against the Robins.
