Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he can "see a lot of similarities" between himself and new signing Adam Le Fondre.
Solskjaer brought the 27-year-old striker to South Wales earlier this week on a three-year deal.
"I think we've got a bit of a steal with Adam," the Norwegian is quoted as saying by Wales Online. "He's proven, he's experienced and he's a natural goalscorer, that's what he's about.
"Having been a goalscorer myself I can see a lot of similarities between myself and Adam. Perhaps he doesn't want the tag, but like me he has been known to come on and score a lot of goals as a sub – of course like I did. You can see he's a natural in front of goal."
Le Fondre scored 41 goals in 110 appearances during his time at Reading.
