Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has praised his new side after they registered a 2-1 victory over Bristol City on Friday night.
The veteran boss has replaced Paul Trollope at the Bluebirds, and his first act was to move the club out of the Championship relegation zone as goals from Peter Whittingham and Sol Bamba earned them a vital win over the in-form Robins.
Warnock told Sky Sports News: "I still get the same thrill out of winning a game of football but not just that, getting the lads to do what I want them to do in just four days and seeing it come off.
"Let's make no mistake, they are a good team, so to beat them is a great feather for us."
Cardiff are next in action when they host Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
