Out-of-form Cardiff City will hope that Blackburn Rovers' FA Cup exploits on Saturday result in them being a little jaded for their visit to the Welsh capital on Tuesday night.
The Bluebirds are without a win in over a month and have registered just one league victory in their last 11 Championship games, while Blackburn are on a high after convincingly beating Premier League side Stoke City to reach the Cup quarter-finals.
Cardiff's recent slide sees them 17th in the table and just six points above the bottom three. However, a win tomorrow could move them as high as 12th.
Russell Slade could make some changes as his side go in search of a first league win in six, with Eoin Doyle, Alex Revell and Tom Adeyemi all pushing for a start.
While Cardiff are looking to put some distance between themselves and the drop zone, Blackburn need the points to reignite their hopes of making a late push for the playoffs.
Gary Bowyer's side, currently ninth, have this game in hand on the five sides directly above them and know that victory will cut the gap separating them from sixth-placed Norwich City to nine points.
Following a run of one league win in nine games, Rovers have won two of the last three to stay in touch with the top six while also reaching the last eight of the Cup.
Joshua King was the star of the show in Saturday's win over Stoke City and he will hope that his hat-trick against the Potters is enough to be chosen for just his fifth league start of the season.
If King does get the nod again, one of Jordan Rhodes or Rudy Gestede will probably be relegated to the bench. Gestede is the club's top scorer and will be keen to play against his last club, but started against Stoke so Rhodes, who was an unused substitute, might be the fresher option.
Out wide, Craig Conway is likely to start in place of Ben Marshall after the latter came off with a shoulder problem in the early stages on Saturday, while Jason Lowe is also missing with a foot injury.
Blackburn have won four of their last five games in Cardiff, but are on an eight-match winless away run in the league that stretches back to October.
The reverse fixture was the opening game of the Football League season on Friday, August 8 and ended as a 1-1 draw.
