Cardiff City secured all three points with a comfortable 2-1 victory over Bristol City in this afternoon's Championship clash.
Cardiff pressed in the opening stages and had a couple of chances to take the lead through Mark Hudson, but the defender could not trouble Tom Heaton.
Bellamy had a glorious chance for the home side just before the 20-minute mark, but he could not adjust his feet in time to put away the rebound from Craig Noone's long-range effort.
Jon Stead had the first chance for the Robins, but he could not keep his volley down.
Bellamy almost made it 1-0 with an impressive 40-yard free kick, though Heaton did well to tip it onto the bar.
The Bluebirds' pressure then paid off just before half time when Fraizer Campbell clipped the ball over Heaton to make it 1-0.
Campbell doubled his side's lead on 58 minutes, taking advantage of some hesitant defending from a throw and stabbing home from six yards out.
Steve Davies had an effort on goal for the away side on 75 minutes, but his 30-yard strike was kept out by the goalkeeper.
Brian Howard came close with a shot in the closing stages, but his finish was just wide of the post.
Bristol City grabbed a late consolation in injury time through an own goal from Ben Nugent, but it wasn't enough to get them back into the game.
