Cardiff City ended Crystal Palace's run of more than ten hours without conceding a goal by securing victory at the Cardiff City stadium this afternoon.
After a goalless first half, Kenny Miller put the hosts ahead midway through the second period, firing low from Don Cowie's pullback.
Peter Whittingham secured all three points for the Bluebirds ten minutes from time by curling home a free kick.
Malky Mackay's side move above Palace into fourth while the Eagles drop a further place to sixth.
