Cardiff City have reportedly started transfer negotiations with West Ham United for their midfielder Ravel Morrison.
The 21-year-old's career with both Manchester United and West Ham has been plagued with a string of off-field controversies, the latest of which has seen him appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court, charged with two counts of common assault.
As a result, the Hammers are now prepared to part with the playmaker, who has just 12 months left to run on his deal at Upton Park.
Despite his misdemeanours, Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add Morrison to his Championship squad, according to Goal.com.
Morrison and Solskjaer have previous, with the latter having coached the England Under-21 international during his stint in charge of Man United's reserve team.
It is believed that the Bluebirds are prepared to part with £3m to secure Morrison's services.
