Inter Milan have confirmed that they are interested in signing Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel this summer.
Earlier this week, reports suggested that the Italian giants were closing in on the signing of the Chile international following Cardiff's relegation from the Premier League last season.
Now, Inter chief Piero Ausilio reveals that the 26-year-old - who is nicknamed 'Pitbull' - has a number of attributes which the Nerazzurri are keen to utilise.
"We are looking for a midfielder with the characteristics of aggressiveness and determination," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"Medel has those qualities and we like him, but we are also evaluating other players."
The Bluebirds broke their transfer record last summer by luring the South American from Sevilla for a fee in the region of £13m.
