Wolverhampton Wanderers are leading Carlisle United 2-1 at half time in their League One clash this evening, thanks to goals from Bakary Sako and Leigh Griffiths.
Wolves took the lead with their first real opportunity of the game when Griffiths played in Sako just outside the box, with the midfielder taking the ball in his stride and crashing home a shot which flew into the bottom corner.
Sako was in a shooting mood in the first half and he let fly again in the 21st minute, but his effort went just wide of goal.
The hosts replied in the 30th minute as Prince Buaben was played in by Matty Robson, before shooting with his right into the bottom-left corner.
Sako tried to push Wolves back in front but his shot from the centre of the box was held comfortably by Mark Gillespie.
Wolves recovered their lead in the final stages of the half as Griffiths nodded home Scott Golbourne's cross to make it 2-1 going into the break.
