Catania coach Rolando Maran has declared that his side should have secured a point against Juventus in Serie A this afternoon.
The Old Lady were denied until stoppage time but made the late breakthrough as Emanuele Giaccherini bundled home a cross from Paul Pogba.
Maran, who was sent to the stands after 40 minutes at Juventus Stadium, believes that Pogba should have been penalised for a foul in the buildup to Giaccherini's late strike that secured a 1-0 win for Antonio Conte's side.
He told Sky Italia: "There is regret for the result achieved because our performance has been positive.
"We had controlled Juve throughout the game although they had tried in every way to get an advantage. Then came the goal of Giaccherini because there was a foul in the box from Pogba.
"Today we had many absences but we came to Turin to play. The result was not good but the performance is."
Catania are currently eighth in Serie A but are now five points off Europa League qualification.
