Catania came from a goal down to defeat Atalanta 2-1 at home in their Serie A clash on Wednesday.
All three goals came in the second half following a barren first 45 minutes.
The visitors went ahead at the Stadio Angelo Massimino in the 49th minute through Maximiliano Moralez, who slotted home after being mistakenly passed by Catania goalkeeper Mariano Andujar.
However, three minutes later Nicolas Spolli restored parity for the hosts when he headed home Francesco Lodi's corner.
Catania completed their comeback on 64 minutes when Pablo Barrientos lifted the ball over the onrushing Andrea Consigli from a tight angle.
