Celta Vigo have been hit with the news that Andreu Fontas will miss the next couple of weeks with a knee injury.
The former Barcelona defender is believed to have suffered the problem in training and he will now work with the club's medical department.
According to Inside Spanish Football, Fontas could return next weekend, but the defender will be monitored over the next seven days.
Fontas will miss the clash with Athletic Bilbao this weekend, but that was already the case due to a suspension.
