Celta Vigo's poor recent form continued this evening as Levante scored an 89th-minute winner against the run of play to steal all three points in a 1-0 win.
The hosts had the first good chance to break the deadlock when Santi Mina found himself unmarked inside the box, but his first touch allowed Keilor Navas to race out and make the save.
Celta came close twice in quick succession midway through the half, with both Nolito and Michael Krohn-Deli sending efforts just past the Levante post.
The home side's pressure continued until the end of the half, and they almost found a way through with just two minutes left until the break when Toni's powerful effort forced a save from Navas.
Celta continued to create chances in the second half with Mina and Charles both coming close with efforts within three minutes of each other.
Substitute Fabian Orellana almost ended the hosts' miserable day in front of goal in the 88th minute when he danced his way into the box, only to send his subsequent shot narrowly wide of the post.
Levante then went and scored the winner with just one minute of normal time remaining as Papa Diop fired a fine effort past Yoel from outside the box.
