Newcastle United are reportedly preparing a surprise move for Celta Vigo forward Michael Krohn-Dehli this month.
The 31-year-old, who has also been strongly linked with Villarreal, has played in all of Celta's league games this season, but his current deal expires this summer.
According to newspaper BT, Krohn-Dehli's versatility in attack appeals to Newcastle and the Magpies will make their move before the end of the month.
The Danish international, who reportedly has other offers in Spain aside from Villarreal, joined Celta from Brondby in 2012.
