Malmo frontman Jo Inge Berget has insisted that he is fired up as he prepares to face former club Celtic in the playoff round of Champions League qualification.
Berget spent time at Celtic as they were eliminated from the competition by Maribor last season after being given an initial reprieve by Legia Warsaw, and the 24-year-old has stated that he does not want to be on the receiving end of disappointment again.
"I remember last year - Malmo went to the Champions League but I didn't. I went out twice. It was a bad feeling, those four games," said Berget, according to Sky Sports News.
"I reckon that feeling is easy for the Celtic players to find. They don't want to experience that again and I don't want to experience that feeling again.
"I want to go in the Champions League and I know the Celtic players want to do the same."
Malmo take on Celtic in the contest's first-leg encounter in Glasgow on Wednesday night.
