Celtic captain Scott Brown has conceded that his side were beaten by "a great team" following Paris Saint-Germain's 5-0 win in Tuesday night's Champions League clash at Parkhead.
The Parisians, boasting a stellar attacking trident of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, produced a classy display to put the Hoops to the sword in the opening encounter.
Although Brown admitted that Celtic did not have the best opening half to the game, he is sure that they will pick themselves from the heavy defeat.
"First half, we were disappointing, but second half we were a bit better. The second half we kept possession a lot more, the first half just wasn't us," he told BT Sport.
"We are disappointed with the result, but they are a great team. We'll pick ourselves up without a problem."
The result is Celtic's heaviest ever home defeat in European competition.
