Celtic will face Greek champions AEK Athens in the third qualifying round for the Champions League if they first overcome Rosenborg.
The draw for the next round of qualifying fixtures took place in Nyon on Monday morning, prior to the second round getting underway.
Scottish giants Celtic now know that victory against Rosenborg, whom they beat in the preliminary stage 12 months ago, will set up a tricky two-legged tie against AEK next month.
Brendan Rodgers's men have already seen off the challenge of Armenian minnows Alashkert in their quest to match their success of last season in reaching the competition proper.
The games will take place on August 7/8 and August 15, with Celtic Park to host the first leg.
Elsewhere in the third qualifying round draw, Benfica were drawn against Fenerbahce and Ajax will face Standard Liege if they get the better of Sturm Graz.
