Barcelona have registered a narrow 1-0 victory over Celtic in Glasgow in their Champions League Group H clash.
Visitors Barca controlled possession at Celtic Park and made the attacking moves in the opening minutes of the encounter, but good work in defence especially from Efe Ambrose kept the Spanish champions out.
Neil Lennon's side continued to frustrate Barcelona as the half wore on and restricted them from finding the final pass that would result in a goal.
However, it was Ambrose again who cleared the ball in the nick of time after Pedro had drilled a dangerous cross into the box on 33 minutes.
Five minutes from the interval Neymar went close for the Catalan giants when he tried to turn in a cross from Daniel Alves, but failed to find the target.
Hosts Celtic started the second half with intensity but were dealt a blow just before the hour mark when Scott Brown was sent off for kicking Neymar after bringing the Brazilian forward down.
That handed the initiative to Gerardo Martino's side, but they were almost shocked by the Scottish champions when James Forrest and Charlie Mulgrew went close in quick succession.
However, those two missed chances came back to haunt the home side as Barcelona scored the winner just moments later.
Alexis Sanchez ran down the right after being released by Neymar and floated in a cross that Cesc Fabregas headed home from close range.
