Celtic are being made to work hard for another domestic win as Partick Thistle keep the score goalless at the break in their Scottish Premiership clash.
After building a run of seven successive wins on the domestic front, it came as little surprise when Celtic started to dominate from the off with several decent moves only coming to a halt with a misplaced final ball.
The first chance of note saw Stefan Johansen's shot easily saved before he turned provider for John Guidetti, who nodded wide of the post.
Aleksandar Tonev was the next to try his luck but his shot was tipped wide before defender Virgil van Dijk got in on the act, but his left-footed attempt was kept out by Paul Gallacher.
The openings continued to come but Gallacher, as well as some poor finishing from the home side, kept the scoreline level as Celtic began to grow frustrated with the half nearing a close.
Van Dijk wasted another chance after volleying into the ground but the best opportunity of the half fell to Anthony Stokes, who fired wide of the post after Guidetti had won the ball on the edge of the box.
