John Guidetti scores with three minutes of the first half left to give Celtic a 1-0 lead over St Mirren in their Premiership clash this afternoon.

A goal from John Guidetti has given Celtic a 1-0 lead after 45 minutes of their Premiership clash against St Mirren this afternoon.

The visitors started strongly and almost took the lead inside the opening two minutes when Guidetti's effort was blocked by the keeper.

St Mirren were then inches away from finding the net, but Thomas Reilly saw his long-range effort come crashing off the bar.

Celtic began to dominate the match and midway through the half Anthony Stokes came close when he cut inside and lashed a shot into the side-netting.

With three minutes of the first half left to play the visitors took the lead when Scott Brown's ball across the box was forced into the net by Guidetti.
