Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster has said that he wants to perform well for his club in order to impress England manager Roy Hodgson ahead of the World Cup.
The 25-year-old made his international debut in England's 2-0 defeat to Chile last week.
When asked if he could be part of the Three Lions squad that will travel to Brazil next summer, Forster told Sky Sports News: "You just have to see really.
"All you can do is wait and see, play the best you can for Celtic and if you are doing that, then it gives people a decision to make.
"You can't expect to get anything. You have to work hard and put the hours in training and at the gym and, fundamentally, put in the performances for Celtic and see what happens."
Forster joined Celtic from Newcastle United on a permanent basis in 2012.
