Celtic are reportedly preparing an approach for Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna before the end of the month.
McKenna, 21, made 35 appearances in all competitions for Aberdeen during the 2017-18 campaign, and it is understood that his performances have attracted a host of attention.
Hull City and Swansea City are believed to have had bids rejected for McKenna over the last six months, but according to Sky Sports News, Celtic have now joined the race.
The report claims that Aberdeen value McKenna in the region of £10m, though, which is a figure that Celtic are not currently prepared to meet.
McKenna, who captained Scotland in an international friendly against Mexico earlier this year, is currently on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.
