Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell has said that Yann Kermorgant's injury might not be as bad as first feared.
The French striker re-aggravated an ankle problem on his return to the Addicks' starting lineup against Wigan Athletic yesterday and had to come off before half time.
"We have to give it 48 hours for the swelling to calm down but [Yann] himself has said to me it doesn't feel as bad as last time," Powell told the club website.
"So hopefully he'll be available sooner rather than later."
The game finished goalless in front of a large crowd of 23,600 that was down to a 'Football for a Fiver' initiative from the South London club.
