UEFA have confirmed that Felix Brych will referee Wednesday's Champions League semi-final between Chelsea and Barcelona.
The German officiated Manchester United's away fixture with Otelul Galati earlier in the competition, where he opted to send off United skipper Nemanja Vidic.
Brych also took the decision to dismiss Peter Crouch during Tottenham Hotspur's 4-0 loss to Real Madrid last season.
Away from the pitch, the 36-year-old is a qualified doctor.
